The finances for the Eastern Sandoval Citizens Association (ESCA) are comprised of two parts: 1) one part covers the main operating activities undertaken in accordance with the bylaws, which is referred to simply as “ESCA”, and 2) the other part is set aside to cover lawyers fees and other costs associated strictly with protecting the land in the Placitas ares, which is referred to as “the Land Protection Trust (LPT)”.
Financial activity specifically associated with LPT only occurs when legal action is taken in response to a specific threat to the land in our community. There is currently no legal or financial activity underway in association with the LPT.
Therefore the budget only reflects the anticipated financial activity for the coming year for the ESCA portion of the Eastern Sandoval Citizens Association for 2025.
